Steve Parker's Exhaust System 200 Tdi into Series
By: Arjan Date: September 9, 2016, 9:20 am

       Bonjour Tous !
We're fitting a 200 Tdi (Ex Discovery) and a recon gearbox to
       the Series later this month.
As the present system is an original 2.25 system and in not too
good conditio, we might aswell go for a new system.
Is it worth getting one of the SP one's ?
... or do our beloved members have other & better ideas...

Well, I was going to go with a Steve Parker, but the price for
now just put me off. That's not to say I won't buy one when I've
       got the cash.
So, I built my own out of Disco and Defender bits because the
bigger bore is better than the Series bore.
       Here it is.
       Started off welding bits together.

Ground off the welds to try and make it look like one piece.

Welded in a couple of straight through silencers.

       Eventually got this.

Then made a rear section and after grinding the welds, I painted
       it in "Stove Enamel".

Then fitted it when it had dried off.

I took me just over a day to do.

I have the Steve Parker kit on my 200tdi and it just fits and
does the job not as cheap as Mr Fluffles but if you cant weld id
       recommend it.
