       My early 2a project

       Bought this one a few months ago. sight unseen. previous owner
       was fair with his description although I didnt expect the
       bulkhead to be as bad as it was.
       Bulkhead was totally rotten and should really have been thrown
       away but I couldnt afford a replacement and spent two months
       repairing it. it wont win any prizes but its certainly solid and
       welded with Zintec plated steel so should be good for a while.
       Story goes it was purchased new by a farm in north wales, and
       towards the end of its working days was used to teach family
       members to drive before being left. Guy I purchased it from
       bought it from farm last year.
       Been off the road since 1999.
       Anyway these earlier pictures are not great I took them with my
       phone and they are a bit dark.

       most of my time was spent on rebuilding the bulkhead. looks like
       the previous painted the chassis with Pylon paint.

       Chassis is surprisingly solid.
       Required Front Dumb irons which I had a crack at myself
       following advice on here.

       The front end so far has had Front dumb irons, new springs , new
       U bolts, new brakes and cylinders. a coat of chassis black.
       Still needs a rear crossmember.
       Original Petrol engine has been removed in favour of a sherpa
       2.5 diesel I originally bought for my old Green series 3.
       It has been wrapped in tarp in my mates allotment for ten years.
       replaced the timing belt and tensioner and serviced it and off
       it goes.

       Now reassembled, but still plenty to do.
       Having issues with Stiff steering so I think Kingpins need
       looking at.
