Valuation specialist required - suggestions?
By: Dark Skies Date: August 8, 2016, 4:26 pm

Following on from my accident wayyy back in January 2015 - I'm
trying to establish that my nut and bolt fully restored with new
/ refurbished / fabricated everything 1964 2A lost significant
value when it became an accident damaged / repaired vehicle.
I sent all the info plus detailed photographs of the restoration
project to my solicitors who passed them on to an engineer for a
report. Two months later I've yet to get a report from them.
Frankly I think they have zero clue because it's out of their
experience (nice shiny new vehicles that they can consult
Glasses Guide on).
Can anyone suggest a qualified engineer that can speak with
authority on the difference in value between a pristine nut and
bolt restoration and a damaged repaired vehicle done by
averagely skilled repairers using second-hand parts?
Thanks in advance.

it depends what you are trying to prove?
that it's worth more than they are offering you or that they
have repaired it and it's now worth less?

As niteram says I think it would help to know what the
disagreement actually is. Was the vehicle on an agreed value
insurance policy?
