       The last few weeks have been a bit of a trial after she
       developed a leak in the cylinder head gasket. I'm awaiting the
       delivery of a third gasket and a set of head bolts after
       snapping a bolt and stretching another. I've discovered that the
       head doesn't quite match the block and has been adapted to fit.
       I've also had to change the oil breather, the distributor and
       the choke cable got broken. I also broke a wing mirror with my
       foot while clambering into the engine bay.
       Having finally tracked down a full set of head bolts I can now
       look forward to a weekend of putting everything back together
       and enjoying that signature exhaust burble again.
