EP90. If you can't find that, then a multi grade EP80/90 gl4 oil
will do. (Halfords have it if you don't mind paying their
prices).
Same oil for both diffs.

^^^what he said.
Also EP90 goes in both diffs, swivels, all the gearboxes, the
steering box and the steering relay. So if you do use those
little bottles from Halfords the costs soon add up!

I have been told not to use GL5 gear oil in older
motors, something to do with additives in these oils might not be
good for bronze bushes.
I have just bought some EP boingy from DLS and the local Guru
confirmed it is better not to risk the more modern stuff.
5l £16. Can't grumble. :smilewide:
It won't let me write EP90.

i invested in one of the 4 gallon drums from smith + allan.

45 quid to your door is bugger all tbh, and as DougT said its
used in everything except the engine, buying same amount in 5
litre tubs one at a time would cost you double that

It is only in our old gearboxes that you cant use synthetic.
There is no bronze in axles or swivels and the synthetic oil is
happier with the pressures in the diffs and runs quieter.
