Does anyone remember...

... A thread by Mr. J. Eastwood, I think.
I'm sure he worked out a conversion table for when using a
standard 109" speedo but using it with disco/rangy diffs as I
recall, to work out the correct speed and possibly the odometer
reading, displayed to actual.
I've searched but can't find it, and John doesn't seem to be
around any more.
Or was it all just a crazy dream?..........

I suppose it's the odo I'm really interested in, as I can use
the twatnav to mark the speedo.
I just want to keep track of mileages for servicing and stuff.
I'll probably work it out mathematically over a known distance
with the twatnav.

I have 3.5 diffs and 235/85s and needed a speedo that read
correctly as the original was around 15mph out
rather than working out the maths to convert the speed and
mileage, I fitted a speedo with the correct calibration
(spitfire or maybe dolomite)
