Hi All,
Just a few words to say hello from a Newbie.
Purchased my 1960 s2 SWB windowed van, last Sept of an ebay ad.
after it had been posted several times for reducing amounts.
After a bit of expert advice I took the plunge and have been
more that happy with the purchase.
The steering was dreadful when I got it but after filling
steering box and relay with oil it's much better. Starting was
interesting and random and after replacing starter, battery,
earth cables and starter push button to little improvement it
turned out the main cable between battery and push button had a
hidden joint which was breaking down. So now all fine and dandy
and starts on the button with no choke every time.
Have painted chassis, put in new front seats and couple of
folding rears and now considering a repaint, probably using
paintman products.
I'll get a piccy or two posted when I figure out how to do that

Welcome along dude, you have put some time into her already then
and seems like you want a long term motor. Paintman paint is
very good Dave who owns its live round the corner from me and is
easy to deal with.

My user name can also currently be seen on series 2 club forum
and Bongo Fury (Mazda Bongo owners) and until recently on Fiat
Coupe Forum. I sold the 2ltr turbo charge coupe for the 2.25 ltr
non-turbo'd landy!
