After some vigorous towing we have encountered a slight issue
with the integrity of the Girsters chassis....bugger....

The rust finally let go...
Oh well time to drag her into the workshop for a fun summer of
tinkering.
The Plan.....
New Galvanised chassis..
TDi engine swap..
Overdrive....
Parrot Bollocks...
General overhaul of running gear....
Possible swap to a truck cab....always fancied one however the
back is useful for the dogs, kids, junk etc....
Will try to keep an update on progress.....

Ouch!
So, new chassis, new engine, new gearbox, new suspension and a
new cab... Are you looking to keep anything of your currant
landrover!!
But - sounds like a lot of fun in the workshop!

look forward to progress :)
same as you on the pickup. i love the look of them but know
deep down it would basically make it into a 2 seater off road
truck with zero usable cabin space
