       Axle case width

       Hello.
I can't find a serial number on my front axle. Am not sure
exactly what I have on there.
It is on a series 1, however the steering arms are bottom
mounted, so could be an S2 one.
Can someone let me know what the width of the axle casing
(flange to flange) should be for a series 1?
       Mine measures 3' - 91.5cm
       Thanks

       Hi,
that seems a bit wide- my tape measure says around 870mm 34" to
       the outside of the flange...

       Thank you for those details.
It sort of looks like it is a later axle on there. I suppose
that will help with getting spares and suchlike.
