Hello from cold and dribbly worcestershire.

Hello all.
First off, thanks to the mods for doing the registration
thingy-wotsit.
Proud father of one, and proud owner of a series IIA 109"
hardtop. One owner from new (south west ambulance authority)
full service history and a warranted 60k miles from new. She has
all of her original bits and bobs, everything works as it should
(even the original heater), plus she has a few extras, big
flashy lights on the top and rear, lots of blue and orange
stripes and a siren! Also came with the ambulance radio which I
assume I'm not allowed to use.
I am not a complete landy noob, I had a SIII for many years, but
sold her for a sensible, practical car. A move I deeply
regretted for the next 5 years. But now I have my new baby. Let
the fun begin (as soon as the DVLA sort out the tax class, it's
still officially an emergency vehicle).
Must have been one of the oldest vehicles still in service.
Enough rambling. Hello everybody.

welcome along dude, you will probably have some fun getting it
insured too unless you have a very good insurance company
already.

I will try and post some photos, but got to work out how first.
Insurance wasn't a problem HippyDave. Adrian flux, very good
price with zero no claims as it's all used on the other cars.
Although that is limited to 8k miles a year. Just can't wait to
get behind the wheel. But until then there is plenty tinkering
to be done to occupy my time.

get used to it. :)

Thanks Kev.
Can't seem to do photbucket from my phone so it will have to
wait until I next put the computer on I'm afraid.
On another note, does anyone know how long it takes the DVLA to
change the tax class? I'm still waiting.
