Evening from Northern Ireland

Hi all, just returned to the fold after a period away restoring
aircooled VWs. Previously had a 300tdi and then a td5 and have
now purchased a '69 Series 2 88" with 2.25 petrol. Currently
alternating between fitting new springs and trying to remove the
door tops in the intervening period while my back recovers. Plan
to move on to replacing the valve stem oil seals and then
driving her throughout the winter! :)😀

I too have found myself here after a couple of VW restos 8)
They do say you get wiser as you get older, so that's my
excuse......

Try not to make 2 'orrible dents in the curvy bit of the door
bottom when you bash the tops off...Like I did..on several
occasions... :toothless:
