       Torn between breaking it up for spares, or getting a 0% credit
       card and getting it sorted, I chose the latter.
       So at some considerable expense, a Richards chassis was
       collected from Ribble Valley 4x4 as he had one in stock.

       So with some help from my Dad, gearbox was removed from the old
       chassis

       Which revealed a slight crank rear oil seal leak......

       done a few chassis swaps since my foray into leafer ownership
       and i have enjoyed every one, just not in to cold thats why my
       own took nearly 2 years to get finished but now everything on it
       is galvanized so it wont need doing again i hope.

       With the gearbox and flywheel now removed, I had my first
       encounter with the curiosity that is the Land Rover rear crank
       oil seal!
