       Bernard the V-80

Hey everyone, here's a little round-up for the new OLLR and an
       update from this weekend.
This is my friend Bernard who I bought going off a few photos
FenTiger sent me in december 2009, and still haven't actually
driven it yet, some 2+ years later...
       It's a cheap 1952 80" with a high compression 3.5 V8 on carbs,
2a gearbox, original axles + chassis, scratch-built bulkhead
with as many bits of the old one we could salvage, little brakes
with a dirty great servo, 2a steering box and plenty of funky
       bits and pieces dotted around.
       "previously on OLLR..."

Think that's it up to date - Luke's just finished being a hero
and sorting the bulkhead out which is now more or less done bar
a bit of paint and some filler to make it all look pretty, then
it's time for the wiring to get started... I'm dreading that.

Going good Luke! I'm getting on with it even though it's still
pretty baltic, so your nice bulkhead isn't getting rusty! Bought
some filler today which will be getting cracked out tomorrow.
I'm going to try and take on the wiring loom next week as i'm
off college, or at least get it going in all the right
directions so i can work out what i'm missing.
       Bit of paint action;

I can't be bothered to brush paint it nor attempt to match the
colour of the rest of the truck, soooo it's going satin black
over the zinc primer to blend in like some ninja boss. Looking
pretty fly so far, all smooth and lovely.
