Has anyone any experience of Classic Bulkheads?

       Hi,
I am looking at replacing my bulkhead with a Galvanised one and
found these guys, has anybody had any experience with them/seen
the product? The price seems good although it says "starts from"
so presume the actual cost will be higher:

       Thanks
       Rob

The only one I have first hand experience of is Ashtree.
No idea about the place you've linked to however looking at the
address it's somewhere random on an estate in Birmingham, not
business premises. They want payment via Paypal however say 4
weeks for delivery, I'd be cautious myself as you only have a
limited period of buyer protection if they want payment up
       front.
When I got Ashtree to do my six pot 2a bulkhead I sent e-mailed
photos then Lyndon gave me a price. It's a while ago now but I'm
sure I made payment when it was ready not in advance.

I'm probably going to be using this chap for my bulkhead -

       I've heard a few good
reports about his workmanship. I also looked at Classic
Bulkheads but couldn't find any reviews which worried me a bit.

I used Ashtree. He was honest about galvanising causing some
distortion of the flat panels. Went out of his way to deliver it
       for me.
The final result was exactly what I wanted. And it all fits!
       LOL.

Thanks Guys, I had the same concerns as NoelC hence asking the
questions. I am going to look at Ashtree as well, I have read
generally good things about their bulkheads so that stands for a
       lot.

I used Ashtree, they were having a very busy time when I dropped
it off, and Lyndon said it would be 12 weeks turn around.
It turned out to be 13 weeks, but they don't take any money at
all until it's ready, and they threw in a pair of galvanised
       supports
as I had waited a little longer, so all good in the end.
I am still in the process of refitting so full report may follow
       8)
