Propshafts

Hi all, I just wanted to share my experience buying custom
propshafts. I needed new props for my 109 auto build as they
were going to be far from standard in every way. I recalled
reading in one of the LR mags about a local firm to me called
BaileyMorris LTD in Cambridgeshire. I took the short trip to
their workshop and trade counter. I was greated by the most
helpful team of staff with a great wealth of knowledge. They
were so helpful and not intimidating. Had a good bit of banter
too. The turn around for the shafts was only a week and they
were a fair price too. I had extreme off road props built to my
spec with wide angle yokes and extra length sliding joint. They
can build any type of prop you could dream of. Well worth
contacting.
Their details are www.baileymorris.co.uk or call 01480 403045.
I can't recommend these guys enough. Great customer service and
quality products.

Yep they're a superb outfit. Not cheap but they are possibly the
most knowledgable in the UK.
They overhauled the propshaft on my Volvo AWD - the only company
that could do it in the UK apparently (I contacted many others
but they all said they couldn't do it) . BM checked the prop
over when they received it and gave me a quote for overhauling
what needed doing now, plus a price for a total overhaul which
would effectively make it brand new. They didn't pressurise me
to go for the full-on option, and their work was A1 - and fast.
I'll also be going to them if I need custom props for my 109
project
