       Leaf spring identification

       I have two newish front springs with the appropriate part
       numbers,however one is stencilled in yellow one in white,also
       one has thinner leaves than the other.
       Any info very welcome. :-?

       They sound like two different makes to me.  They sound like two
       different makes to me.  A set of springs from one manufacturer
       will be impossible to tell the difference apart from the number

       Sorry,I don't have the facilities to put photos up.
       I guess different makes is the answer. When they were fitted
       they gave a corner up effect.
       I wonder if putting them on the opposite sides might even things
       up!?

       That spring reversal has worked for me in the past, another
       dodge was to fit a longer spring hanger on the low side, however
       no substitute for correct ones  :smilewide:

       And me, I fitted new springs all round and then the vehicle
       started leaning. I remedied this by moving a rear spring hanger
       to a position that allowed the vehicle to sit level. Looks far
       better straight..

       if i am reading the original post correctly the springs have
       part numbers on?  in which case we can tell you which is left
       and right

       Thanks for all the help chaps. I have now tracked the makes and
       position of the springs.
       They are currently pickling in 10w CAT gear oil prior to fitting
       at the chassis swap. dogwalk
