Happy Sunday all!
I am after a genuine 200tdi engine.
Does any body know where to scrooge one please as I do not want
to spend 2.5k on a turner one!
I am aware I could just buy a Disco and do an engine swap BUT I
do not have the time nor facilities to have another dead vehicle
:handbag
Regards

Assuming it is for the Series, try and look fort he 2.5 N/A as
an option.
Easy fit, simple on maintenance and an improvement over the 2.5
- esp. with FWH.
200 Tdi's, good ones, will cost you money.

with the engine swap I presume I should also have my gearbox
reconditioned too?
Oh dear why can I see this project cost slowly rising....
•new engine
•reconditioned gearbox
•new props (old ones are shot)
•other miscalainious bits and bobs for MOT
•AND most importantly a shiny new battery operated impact driver
to make life lthat little more easier!
So with rough calculations I am looking at approx 4k to get it
on the road :WTF
The question now is. Is it really worth it?
