300tdi into a 109 Ser III LHD?
By: ruseyrek Date: July 11, 2015, 10:47 am

Hello again,
My rebuild has hit a wall with my 2.5 NA cracking a head and
requiring a complete rebuild.
This got me thinking, instead of forking the cash to do a
complete rebuild of my 2.5 NA why not spend a bit more and drop
in a 300tdi? (200tdi's are not available in Turkey)
I did a quick google search and only found results for a RHD
transplant. obviously with my 109 being LHD I need some info
from someone who has done it on a LHD.
Any help is much appreciated.

Steve Parkers do a conversion exhaust for 300Tdi into LHD series
with a note power steering must be fitted, so what you're
suggesting should work. I'm interested to know more as I have a
LHD 109" I'm converting to Tdi. I have a good 200 engine but
that could be used elsewhere, I'm considering the 300 route and
have a P38 LHD PAS box on its way from the USA. I'd just like to
see photos of a converted vehicle to get an idea.
