At this place and time, I think I would settle for my engine
being that clean and neat. Working on the translation, thanks
for the information and especially for the pictures.

Years and years ago you could get conversions done by Shorrock
Superchargers using a centrifugal blower mounted on the LHS of
the engine sucking through an SU carb.
More recently there was a 100" special doing the rounds running
a fuel injected (both gasoline and LPG) 2 1/4 with an Eaton
supercharger. It went well - very well - but I was party to some
of the issues identified during testing. In order to maintain
reliability it turned out there was a little more to it than
bolting on a supercharger, sorting out the fuel delivery and
making sure adequate cooling was available. (Much the same way
as your late 19j engine is not just a 12j with a turbo and pump
       bolted on.)
       Sounded amazing though!

The short answer to this is yes, it's has been done before.
The main issue will be how good are you at problem solving?
This is a link to a supercharged series 1 with the IOE engine,

And here is exactly what you want to do.
