       SIIA Brecon Beacons

       Hi all.
I have been away from here for a while and used to frequent the
S2 forum more often than not, but as I decided to not renew my
membership with them this year after 6-7 years on there they
appear to have shut down my login and booted me off. This forum
was recommended to me again and I have to say it is good.
I currently drive a 1966 SIIA 109 FFR ex South East Defence
vehicle which I rebuilt from the ground up some 7 years ago. Not
totally original as I fitted a tdi but other than that it is
(oh, bar the galv chassis too) :rolleye0012:
       Cheers,
       Paul

       Never mind originality.....
Love to hear & see more on that Tdi in the Series as I'm going
to do that this Winter. :smilewide:

       Hi Arjan.
       200tdi out of a 93 Discovery fitted with a 300tdi manifold and
turbo assembly (better chassis clearance). No intercooler fitted
but I may fit a small one at some point.. Original Series rad
and no cooling fan. Small mocal style oil cooler fitted in front
of the rad though and I have never had any cooling issues.
Transmission is all original Series 2.
       Paul

I'm having a Disco I to collect in November with a 200 Tdi and
hope to mate it to the Series transmission in the SWB.
       Will be interesting...

Where did that 'disgay' come from? Though some would say that's
       the correct spelling? >rcker<

       Welcome to the madhouse :)
Nice 109, you say its a FFR, so its 24v? Are you going to
convert to 12v when you fit the tdi?
