       number plates

       hi al
       can any one tell me how to get an age related number plate ? the
       one that i have is "s" reg when it was imported but the log book
       states year of manufacture is 1964. it would be nice to have a
       black and white plate.

       That's an important part of its history and personally I'd keep
       the S plates. The law changed in 2001 so if you wish you may
       display the S plate as white on black as it's from when the
       vehicle was manufactured now. Pre-2001 it was when it was
       registered.
