i rebuilt one for a guy i know a while ago Lovely little thing,
so easy to work on and the parts are so light as well. Much
easier than shifting a series engine or box around ::)

I have never been without a bike for 51 years, just love the
things. Present line up from 1929 hand change BSA Sloper to 90s
Yamaha.Never had or wanted a Bantam but would like a rigid D1
now.

must be over 40 year since I last read the hi-way code prior to
sitting my therory tests...passed with good marks.

Congrats on the pass.
As for the Highway Code, haven't they made a mess of it? In Days
of Yore, it was just a simple list of does and don't, easy to
remember parrot fashion ... six places where you should not
park, six places where you should not overtake, and some
meaningless stopping distances. Remember those, and you could
wing it through the questions that came after the practical
test. In those days, the first thing you did after an accident
was STOP. That is no longer a requirement. Nowadays the Highway
Code looks like it was written by a Professor of Psyco-burble.

I have just sold my Z750 bobber that i built and the next
project is a 1976 honda CB750 sohc that is going to be a cafe
racer. :smilewide:
