       no v8..................................yet!
       as the steel did'nt turn up today for the body, thought i would
       start on the front wheels.
       started with a wheel.

       narrow 15" rim.

       all welded, needs cleaning painting. then crossply tyres
       mounting.

       started on the body this afternoon, blimey its eating some
       steel!!!
       swallowed up over 12metres just doing part of sides!!!!
       no pics yet as nothing worth showing yet.

       right, no one laugh. this is how far i've got with the body.
       first time at doing this.
       got one door outer frame in hole, need to get more steel for
       other side.
       got the cowl and front bulk head to start yet, which i think
       will change the looks making it not seem so wide.

       steering column/box will need dropping a couple of inches.

       I thought you were dropping a vintage coup or similar cab onto
       the chassis, not making up your own? It'd be a lot easier that
       way surely?

       wheres the fun in that?  only one i could afford would be
       f/glass. that would need a metal frame work anyway.
       don't know how it will end up looking, will have suicide doors,
       opening screen. mix of everything.
