Here it is with the new wheels and tyres fitted. I couldn't
stand that rusty grille panel so wire brushed it with the
grinder, ran the D/A over it, primed with Zinc 182 from a
spraycan and fired Valspar Octocryl solvent based 2K over the
top. Considering the state of the panel I'm staggered how well
it came out. I used 100ml of paint, 50ml of hardener and a dash
of thinners, and out of that there was enough to do a footwell
repair and patch on the rear door. Good stuff.

Darren - depending upon what wheels are on my 109, I might be
selling the take off wheels that I bought a few weeks ago. No
promises yet as I want to ascertain the offset on the wheels
that are fitted already (ie to see if a previous owner fitted
spacers or if the wheels really do have that offset). I won't
know for another few weeks as the landy is secured stored 40
miles away. Very securely stored - its a long story lol. Just
wanted to let you know there may be a set for sale in a few
weeks ;)

cool beans. assuming you mean you are gonna move the excellent
tyres to your old deep-set TM wheels ?
if so perfect, well up for purchasing the left over new steels

Yep, thats the plan. I'll drop you a PM if/when they're free -
if you don't hear from me in say 6 weeks give me a nudge ;)
Cheers Sam
