What thermostat for Sherpa 2.5 diesel engine?

Daft question, but got my Sherpa engine going nicely now.....
Only problem is it's got no thermostat in and the aluminium
thermostat housing on top is different to a normal landy
defender one, so I don't think a standard one will fit.
Anyone know what stat I should be fitting???

Mine used to have the series top fitted to it.
