reluctant to go into 1st

Hmmm,
not sure if i should be worried or not ( may be a symptom of
colder weather? )
when standing i seem to be meeitng more resistance when going
into 1st of late, now it usually requires a trip via 2nd or a
bit of a wiggle before is slips into gear.
oil levels are ok. Could this be an early symptom of bigger
problems?

I had this, try checking the grub screw at the base of the gear
lever is tight, and failing that just check the selector rods
are all moving smoothly.
That seemed to fix mine...

On mine the clutch pedal sat lower than the brake pedal .I
raised it up to the same level and now mine doesnt do it unless
its cold.

Mine's a bit reluctant to go into 1st when cold, but soon clears
when on the move. It's probably just the synchro springs
becoming a bit weak at a guess, as everything else moves nicely.

have you taken the floor out yet to have a look?
I have a spring break, there are two of them, and that was
stopping the vehicle going into gears. Once the floor is out you
will either see a mechanical problem or need to investigate
further.

not had the floor up yet, had a good run out in the snow & got
everything nice & hot yesterday no problems selecting anything
at all after that.
floors to come up in warmer climates :)
