Rolls Royce B60, Which is a straight 6 4250 cc petrol engine
designed for military applications and was used in the Daimler
ferret.
My Dennis D series, built some 22 years later was running the
same engine, albeit rebored from new to increase the capacity to
4887cc and called the B61.

... one of the first things I drove !, probably age 11- 12 !,
had an Allison automatic - I remember my sister hit some doors
in a Commer but it was no problem, my Granddad was ace ! (chief
engineer at Kent fire brigade workshops, until retirement 1977)

Wish mine was automatic, its got a back to front manual which is
great when you don't drive it regularly..
