       My Landys

       First one, not owned by me.  Enjoyed for a long period which
       made me catch 'the bug'...

       1984 - ex-Mil.  2.25 petrol.  Ratty as hell!  Had no end of
       problems, including one day a stub axle parting from the vehicle
       whilst driving...
       (you can see the dodgy passenger side wiper in this picture.
       Used to throw itself off into the hedge)
       Absolutely loved this Landy.  It now lives near me, and is in
       much better condition, with safari roof, O/D, new cylinder head,
       etc.
       By now I was hooked...
       So I drove the ex-mil upto Northampton (to buy some tyres) and
       saw this...

       It was the straight six, and I loved it.  Rotten as hell, but
       that noise...
       Spent far too much money on it, and enjoyed it for 3 years
       before it destroyed the drive gears to the distributor, and
       lacking the funds it was sold on...
       So.  Two years with a sensible car, and I've decided to go back
       to a Landy!  Pictures of that will follow when it gets home.
