       propshaft for salisbury

       want to fit a salisbury axle to the rear of my 109 2a. do i need
       a shorter prop? if so which one?

       Is it a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder?
       The prop is different as the 6 pot gearbox is mounted about 4"
       further back
       Yes you need a shorter prop, the good news is Series 3 109's
       where fitted with Salisbury Axles so you just need a Series 3
       109" rear prop of the correct flavour 4 pot or 6 pot, the 6 pot
       ones are hard to find I know because I have been looking, just
       got one.
       The 6 pot is this part number
       6 cyl 591283 for Salisbury £125 from Paddocks.
