Just returned to Series Land Rover ownership.
Have had;
1951 86, fitted with S2 running gear.
1984 109 2.25
1980 109, 2.6
and now, a 1966, series 2 109 fitted with a 12j diesel lump.
Am buying this very much as a project, so will keep you updated
as to the progress.

Welcome
Bet you wished you'd kept that 1951 series one 86, it predated
production by 2 years! >Htlr<

To be honest, I always thought that Series 1 had a suspect Reg.
It was ex-RAF (purely on the colour of the paint under all that
green) so I know it'd had an 'interesting' history.
