diesel on to a 2.6 box

has anyone ever fitted a 2 1/4 diesel engine on to a 2.6 petrol
box and what bell housing did you use

THe boxes are interchangeable - you just need to change to a 4
pot bell housing that is compatible. Ideally the same suffix as
the 6 pot box

If it's a 2a box, D suffix onwards 2a bellhousings will fit
(Only the one clutch release hole, on the offside, and large
layshaft front bearing) or a S3 one will fit, but you need to
make sure you have S3 clutch parts. If it's a S3 box, then all
S3 bits will swap like for like.
