109 exhaust choices

It probably been covered before but i cant find it. I have a
109" which has been converted from a 6 cylinder to a 2.25 diesel
I need an exhaust.
IM assuming i just buy a normal 109 diesel exhaust. and probably
some new mounting points?
Are there two types of exhaust for the 109 as ive seen some
listed as 88 and 109 which appear to come out the driverside
before the back wheel and ive seen one listed as 109 where it
comes out the back n/s corner.
Does it make much difference which I choose. cant imagine it
would affect performance of a 2.25 diesel much. my preference
would be the short one coming out before the back wheel.
Its of December 1971 vintage.
thanks

dependant on what you have

Right. I assume you have a rear mounted fuel tank, as it WAS a 6
cylinder. You'll need the 1973 onwards system, with the vertical
3 bolt front pipe.

However. If you DO have the 4 bolt manifold, the front pipe
exits through the wing. You'll need this.
