Brings back memories of doing that when my kids were little
using my old Series 3.

Used to do a similar thing in the 70s on a local beach...very
quite and hard packed sand....great fun going from lock to lock
at 30mph...the sled ski out at crazy angles.

Did similar one winter years ago, only we were towing an old
armchair mounted on a scrap car bonnet, it didn't half
go......ultimately the passenger was nearly smashed against an
old lorry dumped on the site as we slewed round the corner,
luckily I was driving the land rover and not in 'the chair'
:toothless: ...Shame no one was filming it really
