Hi All
Im about to put a 1968 2A back on the road after its been stood
up for some time,it had a ford essex v6 conversion done in the
80s
is there anyone else out there still running one of these?

Hi, there a few of the V6 engines still fitted in landrovers,
the rover V8 was (and still is) a more common conversion
were are you in the world?

hi, welcome, got one in my lwt that I'm rebuilding, its a steve
parker conversion, am rebuilding engine along with everything
else...........

I've got one in my 88", recognisable to many of the old
retainers on here. I also did an LT77 conversion a few years
into having it, although I suppose it's still only a 4 speed box
- I don't need 1st gear much anymore :toothless:
I love mine, loads of power, sounds great just a bit thirsty but
you can't have everything. The engine blings up a treat too,
loads of aluminium to have polished up! (Doesn't look much like
this though anymore, back in 2006 I think...oh yeah, and the
carb was on back to front then too :wanker:)
