Identifying an Alternator

I have a unused NOS Gold Seal reconditioned alternator.
Looks like it's a Lucas, but the only ID on it says Gold Seal
GEU 2262
Does anyone have the relevant cross reference charts to tell me
what I've got in Lucas terms.
The unit has the woodruff key and nut on it, but no pulley or
fan.
I've got a pulley that looks right, but I'm not sure about the
fan.
Might have to buy a new one, and for that I need the Lucas part
number

Rimmer Bros show it as a standard 55A alternator from a Rover
V8, though it could be used on another engine :-?

Thanks for that.
I don't know what the difference is between a GEU and a GNU - E,
but it's definitely on the right track.
Still doesn't give me the Lucas model number but I think
research into the SD1 V8 might give the answer.

Gold New Unit ? GNU
Gold Exchange Unit ? GEU

That's quite likely actually.
I never thought of something that obvious.
Being as this unit has three terminals and my little brain is
only used to coping with twp, I removed the rear cover.
The inside of the cover has A133 moulded into it, so I guess
that solves the mystery.
Dunno what the third terminal is for, but it's connected to the
main output stud
