If you have the drop down tailgate fit that for the MOT, my
hardtop passed with just a tailgate, it now has a catflap......

Re-adjusted the hard top today.
Got the hard top sides lined up much better to the roof panel.
Seems to have stopped jamming for the time being.
Problem seemed to be a lack of travel on the latch bolt thingy.
The lock is probably past its sell by date, and the hinges look
like they're worn oval where the brass ball bears on them.
Might just keep it as is for a while.
Otherwise it looks like new hinges required.

The cups in the hinges wear as well as the balls.
A quick emmergency repair (that often gets left) isvto cut the
ball in half and pack it with a washer or 2.
Trust me it works.

Yeah exactly what has happened to mine.
Bought those hinge pin kits anyway.
Couldn't resist @ £1.50 each ;D
No point fitting them to worn hinges though, but now I've just
found a top hinge that is less worn.
Maybe I can repair the bottom one now ?
Blobs of weld and a bit of work with a Dremil ???
