Can you give a link to where you can get that sort of
model kit
I did a lot of on-line looking - Amazon, Ebay, Google etc and
found a model shop with a good price for what I wanted (metal
Tracks, Drive Wheels and gearbox + proportional control) mine
came from Howes Models in Kidlington, via their ebay shop -

and
was about £70 less than other places !

.... too late to Edit !
here is a link to the actual shop page that shows the range

the gun poc marked a sheet of paper at a range of about 6 foot,
so not that powerful, but would probably sting a bit if it went
in your eye! - I think you can get mini paint balls for it -
that might be fun.

For parts, search "Heng Long" on ebay, thats the manufacturer.
I got a tiger a good few years ago, though the plastic gearbox
didnt last too long it was an half fun. Still got it keep
meaning to do it up.

Oh for a 1/16 Tiffy.
We get the Barby Army driving the bloody things around the model
shows, fun for the first 30 seconds then just bloody irritating.

I've got one of these, sat in my loft unused for about 3 years.
They're great fun, but the plastic tracks are weak and prone to
breaking where the links join together with metal pins. They are
a right bastard to repair the links, too.
Ideally, they need the metal track optional upgrade to work on
anything other than soft carpets without getting a shock and
snapping.
It's a shame, as mine has the upgraded metal gearboxes fitted
after I shredded a plastic one, but I just got fed up of it in
the end.
if anyone wants it, they can have it for £20 as I doubt I'll
ever get round to using it again
