I'm a new rover owner and really never an older car owner. I've
never considered having to work on a car but now I've got the
bug and have been slowly tackling jobs that don't seem to scary.
Nothing brings a bigger smile than puttering around town in
this old clattering beast. I'm hooked.

Welcome along dude, they are made with added smile factor when
working but you utter swear words never before heard when they
dont but they get in the blood and we love em

I'm in Baton Rouge so about 4 hours away from Houston.
I knew I was hooked when I was trying to justify a second rover
for no apparent reason other than; "My that's a nice looking
landy." :smilewide:

A warm welcome to you from your northern neighbour. Have to be
careful on getting the second Land Rover thing, it's infectious!

I'll do so straight away. I've not had any green lane time with
the wagon yet but it has certainly been an eye catcher round
town.

Welcome. :thumbs: I've got a '66 LHD ambulance that lives with
my uncle not far from Boise, ID - sadly not exactly local to
Baton Rouge. Compared to the UK the amount and quality of off
road driving local to him in ID, OR & MT is quite something,
can't wait to head back over sometime next year. :smilewide:
