Following on from Dave's Airfield I'm working on some WW2
scenes. Unfortunately for most they're all fire engine
orientated. Ive only been working on stuff for a few weeks, but
this is how im getting on..

Resin "Ruined Workshop" from Airfix painted up but not yet
finished, and a Resin "garage" converted to a WW2 Fire Station
       (extra door cut in)

Mobile Deluge Set (big giant water canon) made form Plasticard
(first attempt think ill have another bash) mounted on an Oxford
Diecast Trailer Pump trailer, and a White metal Kit converted to
a Mobile Dam Lorry (need to add a ladder yet)
Eventually ill have them set up a bit like Daves Airfield with a
       couple of street scenes etc.

Very good - my grandfather was an NFS Fireman during the war, he
was stationed at the Lyminge workshops in Kent during WW2,
living in Dover - the building roof was clipped/hit by a RCAF
P47 Thunderbolt having engine failure on takeoff from RAF
Hawkinge, so the story went - I have a NFS tin helmet that was
       his.

Cool Beans as the kids say.. The NFS is a bit of a specialism of
mine, hence the subject matter of the models. Ive got a few Tin
lids floating about. I also own this.. (hence the scratch built
       model attempt)

Bells Go Down and Fires Were Started, my Uncle who was NFS is
one of the extras in The Bells - his 15 minutes of fame ;D
