Debating as to which to purchase and if they would actually be
of 'real use' getting old you see and its a struggle climbing
       up these days...
       Non - genuine

       or
       Genuine ?

Does anyone have any experience of either ??
       Thanks in advance

I took the side steps off mine after damage caused on a lane.
Never had a rear step so can't comment.

:banghead MMM almost exactly.. so do I pay for genuine (
more expensive in LR Box ) or go for pattern parts ..
       decisions decisions

I reckon they come from the same place in different boxes. The
only issue I can see is if they are Britpart they have had
issues with the rubber items falling apart after a very short
       time.

Re 'looks' yup they appear to be identical apart from the
rubber tread plate bit, I will probably go for genuine as
everything 'genuine old LR' seems to just last and last... I
just wondered too if they actually helped with access and egress
or if in reality they were a hindrance :smilewide:

Probably find that both off those are from the same wharehouse,
as nowhere can I find it saying new old stock and what it looks
like to me is that you are paying the Craddock Tax!

Got a folding rear step on mine and currently it's useful and
with it folding I don't try and crush it when parking

Well Took the plunge and bought some... emailed Cradd***s &
Padd***s asking what they supplied a in Bearmarch or Blue box,
Didn't even get a reply from Cr*****s but Pad*****s said that
''Everything you have ordered will be supplied by Britpart.
Britpart don't make anything, they are purely a supplier. The
front and rear props will be Hardy Spicer, but they rest will be
       standard aftermarket products.''
So I went with Padd***s bought steps, propshafts , bushes,
seals & the like as they were cheaper..
Everything has come, most of the oil seals are genuine OEM in
LR boxes, props have Hardy Spicer UJ's in them, and everything
else supplied is Bearmarch... not a blue box in site

       Well Pleased :giddy:

You can post 'Craddocks' and 'Paddocks' if you wish.
       This isn't the S2C. :)
