back to how it should be that cheqer plate is coming orf sort
the wings hinges tyres and anything else that needs changing
back to 2a its solid and drives spot on .
gotta change the rear silencer box and intermediate pipe this
week but its all part of the fun aint it ;-)

Nice looking truck you have. Got to ask......When you change
your front panel what are your plans for the old one? If it's in
reasonable condition could I pry it from you with beer tokens
please?

Thanks lads and jimmy 74 , yeah you can have it mate i'll send
you a pm an put some pics up of the condition.
Mr blenky re the bonnet i dunno im no expert still trying to get
up to speed with what should be on the old girl an what
shoudn't.
Mr rob 1769 that bleeding plate as got to come out of it ! i'm
thinking of trying to source some s2 wings as ive got to get the
panels where the s3 lights have been put in,and when that iron
hoof plate comes off its gonna leave all the rivet holes.
So might be easier and cheaper to just change the lot ;-)

That's nice youth. The bonnet ,I think is correct. I had one
similar age with one,also it's a slide sideways removal,not
lift,I think it's right. Nice. :smilewide:

I think the only difference between the 2a and 3 bonnets were
the solid rivets. The 2a had them along the front\rear edge and
front to back and the 3 had just two rows along the back edge.

That's a shiny motor, glad your'e goin to bin the :gay:plate,
as you hinted at, best plan is to get a proper 2a front panel
and wings.
.if it were me I'd prob drive it around as is ( not the bummer
plate that'd come straight off ! ) , til I sourced the bits to
return it to 2a spec, looks a v.nice motor to fiddle with anyway
