Two green ones with "handle" for rear tub and one black one for
engine side of passenger bulkhead.

That's going to be way better than it ever left the
factory..amazing stuff !
I was also amused by the earlier pic of the blokes in Land
Rovers wearing Nazi helmets !
..reminds me of duff old war films where they used any old motor
/ tank ( usually ones that were never even invented in WW2 ) and
painted black crosses on 'em..instant Panzer Division !

Well, about the Nazi helmets... while searching abit in the
history of landrovers used by the german border police (BGS)
which was founded in 1951 as a police troup, while germany was
not yet allowed their own army again, the initial supply of
material contained quite a lot of WW2 stuff.
The helmets were only one thing dating back to >Htlr< time.
They even had helmets where the imprinted insignia was grinded
off again.
Obviulsy made on the same press than "before" and only after
several hundret helmets they changed the press instead of
removing the swastika after the initial pressing....
There were several hundret of the WW2 type helmets unearthe in
Finland a while ago, where they obviuosly did not use them after
they were delivered in the 50s because of the swastika being
present in the metal.
The picture above with the row of vehilces is the funeral of
german chancellor Adenauer on 25 April 1967!
Tradition is fine thing, isn't it :smilewide:

some more pics, building the engine. Currently stuck with the
head as valve springs are not equal..... arrrghhh.... can't seem
to find proper genuine spec ones.
Don't want different spring rates in one head.
