Hi all,
some pics of the project.... I was asked yesterday, why I am
looking for rim clamps for military headlamps when I only have
the "rear PTO pulley drives a saw" SWB Series 2.... :smilewide:

Its a 1965 S2A ex Federal German Border Patrol SWB.
They were used to protect us from the soviets.... back in those
days along the iron curtain.
Border Police had 200 of these in 1965, later on some more
Bugeyes, then some normal S2A with lights in wings and ended
with 85 Series 3 LWB Station Wagons in the mid 70s.
After that the G-Wagon frm Mercedes took over until the Disco 2
was bought again.

Brand new Richards Chassis with bespoke Military rear
crossmember.
Will get the 40 amp 24V electrics back and the disel fitted when
I got it
will be replaced with the proper petrol engine with the correct
suffix number (yes I AM nuts... I know)

brackets (was missing, red one is lent template)

radio stuff completed (searched all the missing items - radio,
telescopic antenna mast, connectors, power supply, radio
mounting frame (rebuilt from scratch), power supply mounting
frame (new rubber bushes) etc etc.
