       Hi All
Can you please help me in the process of removing the pillar
bottom bracket of my Series 3.
I am not sure if it slips out or is welded in place?
       Photos would be good
       Thanks
       Craig

What do you mean by pillar bottom bracket.
If you mean the mounting at the bottom of the front door pillar
to the chassis outrigger, then its spot welded

Yes it does slide in but as said it is then spot welded in
place, so you need to remove the spot welds before you slide the
       old one out.
If you clean off the paint and rust you can usually see the spot
welds, they can be drilled out at about 8mm ish, you can then
pool in new welds to the new foot in to the holes you made using
a MIG, by the time you grind the welds back and used a flap disc
you should barely see the repair.
