       19:30 Sunday 12 October
       Channel 4
Should be worth watching...for anybody that does not know Guy
Martin....he is a champion motor cycle rider and has made quite
a few doc style tv progs...this one is about the re-build of a
spit found buried in sand on a French beach.

would blow to bits !" - very good watch.

My view is he is poor presenter that claims credit for the
       efforts of others.

I disagree. He's not a presenter. Not in the telly pro sense at
least and I don't think he takes credit for the efforts of
others. I watched the programme and I've watched his others and
he never claims he's done it all. He does a bit and from what
I've seen he admits he's not done much.
I like the bloke, he actually knows one end of a spanner from
the other and he's genuinely enthusiastic and not full of shit,
unlike most people on the telly...
Now if you want a telly programme involving restoring big
mechanical bit of kit and 'presenters' taking all the credit,
just watch "Salvage Squad" again. A right bunch of :wanker: s

Agree on both accounts Dave - he really was using that Mic.
lathe and the cylindrical grinder - and look at his hands - you
don't get ingrained grime and bust up nails from doing nowt.
