Seat frames and rails

Apologies for boring you all shitless with my dumbass questions
about the simplest parts of a Land Rover.
It's time to sort out my seating, and I have to confess that my
technical knowledge is very patchy here.
Of the eight leafers I've actually had on the road over the
years, only two had adjustable seats and I never messed with
either.
When I bought my present 88 it had the 109 type frames but just
bolted to the seat box (ie no sliders)
Then I bought another pair of frames c/w the sliding rails etc.
The rails don't slide too easy
Been outside for a year or two.
They do move with a bit of persuasion.
WTF is inside them ???
I've avoided pulling them apart just in case it all falls apart
on me.
Can I dismantle them and clean/lubricate them ???
Secondly the two pairs of frames that I have are different.
One pair has welded abutments to limit the rotation of the seat
backs, and the other pair don't
So what were they originally from? And which should fit into my
SWB?
I've looked at my parts books but I'm none the wiser for it.
Any clues to what I have in front of me would be appreciated
Cheers!

I'm sure, a long while ago, i had some seized rails full of
crud.
I might be dreaming but try looking for a pin that can be tapped
out to dismantle. - or I might just be dreaming...

You aren't dreaming.
Each slider has two roll pins that look like they'll tap out
with a pin punch.
I have an idea that there might be a ruck of little ball
bearings inside which are just waiting to make good their
escape.
Today while it was pissing down I ran very hot and near boiling
water down the inside of the slide tracks.
Flushed out all manner of dead creepy crawlies, leaves, dirt,
and spiders eggs.
Definitely much freer now but still too stiff for comfort.
I dunno whether to try to oil/grease them as is, or strip them
right down ???

Spray some lube into/onto them and keep working them and they
should free up. Mine (only on the drivers side) was stuck solid
and that's all I did and it worked.
