What drivers view?
I sit so tall in the Landy that my eyes are above the top of the
windscreen. The center strip, dash heater, stickers and air
freshener obscure everything to the left and the spare wheel
takes care of whatever was left.

if you tax at a PO, which I always do, you get a receipt for the
application etc, suggest, if you wish to place anything in the
redundant tax disc holder, you insert this reciept, that will
confuse 'em, kind regards :rolleye0012:

or you could get some 'club' stickers made to go in and replace
the disk :rolleye0012:

normally do mine at the post office, but this time did it on the
phone, but only cos I was talking to them about other stuff.
It was all ok and is now showing on the system as taxed BUT I
didn't get a reference number or anything which is worrying!

I think a replica tax disc from 1970 stuck in the corner of my
windscreen is going to be a must now.
Dunno if I'll be arsed with getting the vehicle details printed
onto it.
Just wondering how much twelve months tax was back then ???

The 1973 tax disc I reproduced said it was £9.40 for 4 months
tax.
for a 1970 one, lift the image from one of these, doctor it you
get your own registration number on it and print with a colour
printer.
