       By: mark-h Date: September 29, 2014, 3:33 pm

Well after selling my last one when I had no work, and
regretting it, and after a few that I lost to higher bidders. I
have finally bought another. It will be delivered on the
       weekend. :smilewide:

back to leafer ownership, they leave a big hole when you are
       without one.

I didnt realise how much I used it until I got rid of it. was
like somebody took my left leg. taken for granted because I
       always had one there.

anyone know anymore on this bumper appears to be welded together
rather than bolted with a square cut out on top either side like
       something fits into it.

That's an early series 2a military bumper. The bumperettes are
still bolted on, just only from underneath. The cutouts are what
the military used for lashing to prior to the shackle/eye on
later models. There will be a bar in each cutout to lash too.

probably but I bought it out of auction and viewed it before I
was outbid. so it didnt matter anyway. Out of auction is the
only way you can get these things at a reasonable price now.

got it :smilewide: needs a bit more than I first spotted (my
fault for viewing in the dark) clutch is going and it now
drives its the slave thats at fault will get replacement this
       week.
to date (last hour) it needs the folllowing before I consider it
       ok to use.
3 pieces of welding (nothing serious or difficult)
       clutch slave replacement
diesel stop cable (currently bailing cord)
       indicator stork
electrical fault with dash and gauages (no power)
       exhaust replacement
       replace soup stir gearstick
       service
few loose items need bolting on properly and securely then I
will be happy to use it despite it already having an MOT
I also noticed its top is a station wagon top minus its top
       plate.
