       Hi Joseph,
Yes, Google does list free viewings of MALTA STORY, but I'm not
sure how to access them. I clocked on excerpts from the film,
which mainly concentrated of the effect the war had on civilian
life. OK ... it was all film sets, but scary, all the same. The
was a short clip of a bus, but a Messerschmitt shot it up a
       couple of minutes later.
As I understand it, Malta was the stumbling block stopping Italy
joining up with Rommel in North Africa. Faith, Hope, and Charity
were three Gloster Gladiator biplanes that the RAF liberated
from the Royal Navy stores, and were virtually the only defence
against the Italian Air Force. They had a supercharger knob that
should only be pulled out for 10 seconds ... or, in Malta ...
permanently. They lasted till the Spitfires arrived.
Watch the film, if you can. Be proud of your island.

hi! sorry for the late reply. i am busy.. it might as well be.
malta was rather crippled down as u said cos of german and
italian attacks to try and destroy to british military base
that was supplying and helping british fleets in the med sea. i
am into history but not much into plains and things in detail. i
am not so pleased with malta anyway that was a long time ago ..
i guess maltese were a much different breed back then.
Sorry to hear about your wife's issue. Police hm... haha i
guess there is nothing more than a badge to them. :)
