hi.
well was wanting to take a picture of me and the IWMBO in summer
outfits (I being the IT in the picture) rofl
Strangely enough some OLLR guys had to fly over to Malta to do
me the favour :rolleye0012:

So another photo of my steed which is still proudly sporting a
weary 2.25 diesel.
cap on and hard at work during our hay season. laden with 47
square bales, plant trailer and b7001 with molon belt hay rake.
shabby photo but after two hours struggling to sort out load
alone i wouldn't expect any better:)
not to mention route back home up and down our hilly streets
consisted of an vast assortment of gear shifts ranging from 1st
to 3rd. but i had such a :smilewide: on my face the kind that
no crappy bmw sedan or pimped roadster can ever crack!!!

Ah yes, the Maltese buses - awesome! I heard that they're all
going to be replaced though - with modern rubbish? It'd be a
huge shame that.

That happened when Arriva were awarded the contract. It all went
a bit Pete Tong to say the least, Arriva lasted from July 2011
until December 2013 when the Maltese Government snatched it
back. I was fortunate to be holidaying in Malta over the
Christmas period in 2013 when the excellent news was announced.
They'd amassed debts of €50 million in that time, typical Arriva
ineptness. After the self-combusting Mercedes Citaro bendibuses
and the Maltese Government effectively banning their use Arriva
were left between a rock and a hard place. The bendies were
fucked anyway, they were the ones Boris kicked out of London and
the turntables on 70% of the London fleet were bolloxed.
From January this year Autobuses Urbanos de León are running the
services, fingers crossed I'll be back there in October to see
what's changed. Hopefully the insipid Arriva turquoise will have
all gone.
